Guest Reviews

Very stylish, modern and opulent. The heritage building has been updated to a very modern hotel but keeping with the old style too. Built in 1880 as a personal residence then up graded over the years to become a hotel. Totally refurb and expansion in 2014 and is now a very stylish, comfortable hotel. It is within walking distance to trains, ferries, buses and the shopping malls of Brisbane.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem when you want to indulge yourself.

“Very Stylish Opulent Hotel”

I LOVED this hotel! Stayed in a superior room as I wanted to stay in the older part of the hotel. The decor was absolutely gorgeous. Check in was friendly and helpful; all staff were lovely. Enjoyed a delicious dinner, lovely ambience and delightful waiter providing excellent service in the hotel restaurant. If you stay at this hotel you really should eat at the restaurant at least once.

The location was perfect for a solo traveller arriving by train from the airport, just a few minutes walk from Central station.

Did I mention my room? It was so beautiful, cosy, comfortable and.....I could go on and on; I love what the designers have done to this hotel! I checked out a one bedroom suite whilst there and it was so charming I am planning to return with my husband. If you're tired of all the usual vanilla hotels and looking for something special you really can't go wrong here.

“Sexy sophisticated glam”

Décor fabulous. Remote controlled electric curtains, iPad to order room service, rainfall shower head. You can't ask for much more, they've thought of everything. Walking distance to Queen Street Mall, CBD & train station. We'll be back!

I recently held a week long conference for 45 people at the Inchcolm using their function space, the restaurant and booking 24 rooms. The venue was amazing!

The rooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds, a choice of pillows, elegant décor and some splendid little touches. The food was fresh and delicious, everyday we enjoyed 3 rounds of tasty surprises. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Incholm and our conference was a huge success thanks to their help.

I stayed and The New Inchcolm Hotel whilst on a business trip to Brisbane and was amazed by how good this hotel was. the decor is beautiful and has a lovely old world class to it from the minute you step through the front door. The rooms are really incredible - you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the styling and design of the rooms with lots of little practical touches. There was nothing I could fault about the rooms and the iPad concierge system is great.

The bar and restaurant are wonderful. The food is very high-end and don't expect large portion sizes. You'll likely need 3 courses, but you'll be thankful you did because the food is outstanding.

Lastly, the staff at this hotel are just what you'd always hope the staff at a nice hotel would be like. They were all friendly and very attentive. Nothing was ever a problem and all our requests were responded to within a timely manner.

My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. I will definitely be returning.
